The results of the national research program project #dzivearCOVID19 studied the experiences of both employers and occupational safety specialists and employees during the first two waves of the pandemic - from the measures taken in companies to the experience of moving to work remotely. The results of the project allow to identify the most important problems and to mark the solution of how to “coexist” with COVID-19 in companies. In the presentation, we will outline the most important and easy-to-take preventive measures to reduce the risks of SARS-CoV-2.

As part of the project, leading Latvian scientists and engineers from 9 leading Latvian universities and research institutes developed advanced solutions to mitigate the effects of COVID-19, which are applicable in healthcare and other high-risk areas, such as public transport. The aim is to improve the sustainability and quality of services in healthcare areas during COVID-19 and other communicable diseases by improving and developing reliable technologies and concepts.
